Bulabunmarra Projects, directed by Jonathan Jones (Wiradjuri/Kamilaroi) and Genevieve O’Callaghan, brings together more than thirty years of combined experience working in the visual arts industry in Australia to produce major public artworks and exhibitions in cities across the country. Bulabunmarra has a special focus on south-east (Murray–Darling Basin region) Aboriginal communities, knowledges and cultural practices.
The company’s name is a Wiradjuri word meaning two people working together, and is used with the permission of Dr Uncle Stan Grant Snr, leading Wiradjuri elder and language-holder.
